Skyline Secures North American Mining Coverage for Client Clinch Resources’ Lanes Branch Production Milestone

Skyline Corporate Communications Group recently secured media coverage for our client, Clinch Resources, in North American Mining, highlighting the Company’s latest operational milestone at its Lanes Branch surface mine in southern West Virginia.

The feature, titled “Clinch achieves operational milestone at Lanes Branch,” spotlights Clinch’s continued production progress as the Company sold its first 11,000-ton train of commercial-grade metallurgical coal from the Lanes Branch operation. The article also notes that Clinch expects its first 65,000-ton seaborne vessel carrying metallurgical coal to depart in early September, marking another important step in the Company’s commercial growth strategy.

The coverage further highlights Clinch’s production expansion plans through the recent deployment of a Cat HW 300 Highwall Miner, which is expected to enter production at the beginning of August. Once operational, the new equipment is anticipated to increase production at Lanes Branch to more than 40,000 clean tons per month, with a long-term objective of exceeding 80,000 clean tons per month by year-end.

As Robert Gaylor, Executive Vice President of Clinch Resources, noted in the announcement:

“Reaching our first train sold and first vessel to ship from our high-quality Lanes Branch surface mine in Wyoming County, W.Va., continues to validate our operational strategy and the quality of our assets.”

Located within Clinch’s expansive 54,000-acre ARI project footprint, the Lanes Branch operation represents a key component of the Company’s long-term production strategy and demonstrates continued operational execution as commercial shipments ramp up.
